The Aqara Presence Sensor FP2 is a high-precision smart home sensor that uses millimetre-wave (mmWave) radar technology to detect human presence, even when the person is completely still. Unlike traditional PIR motion sensors that require physical movement to trigger, the FP2 can sense micro-movements like breathing, making it ideal for continuous occupancy detection. - Zone Positioning: A single sensor can monitor a room up to 40 m2 (approx. 430 sq ft) and be divided into up to 30 customizable zones (e.g., sofa, bed, desk) to trigger specific automations. - Multi-Person Detection: It can simultaneously track up to 5 people, allowing for tailored scenarios based on the number of occupants in a room. - Fall Detection: When mounted on the ceiling, the FP2 can detect if someone falls and send an immediate alert through the app.
