Industrial salt, also known as sodium chloride (NaCl), is commonly used in earthing systems to improve soil conductivity around earth electrodes. It helps to reduce the earth resistance by attracting moisture from the surrounding soil, ensuring better electrical contact between the electrode and the earth.
