The broadband satellite system is composed of a satellite, a gateway and customers terminals. customer terminal is (74cm antenna less than a dstv antenna which is 94cm) an indoor router and modem. the customer terminal will link customers to the gateway to connect to the internet. the internet bandwidth is unlimited data plans for as low as n12,900/month. with download speed of up to 50mbps. why satellite connection? as the satellite network consists of only a satellite, teleport, noc and vsat terminal, the number of opportunities for network outages are significantly reduced. compared to terrestrial networks, there is much less opportunity for network outages. with terrestrial services (cable, 3g/4g or dsl), network outages can occur at any point. satellite internet has a higher availability rate is available anywhere in nigeria
