Compliance Officer

• Develop, implement, and review organizational compliance policies, frameworks, and procedures. • Monitor and evaluate internal processes to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices. • Conduct compliance audits, risk assessments, and gap analyses across departments. • Ensure timely filing of regulatory reports and statutory submissions to relevant authorities. • Provide compliance training and awareness sessions for staff. • Investigate compliance breaches or complaints and recommend corrective actions. • Liaise with regulatory bodies, legal counsel, and external auditors as required. • Maintain an updated compliance register and track regulatory changes affecting the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance, regulatory, or legal role — preferably within an NGO, financial, or development sector. • Strong knowledge of Nigerian regulatory frameworks, labor laws, and sector-specific compliance requirements. • Familiarity with donor compliance requirements and grant management is an advantage. • Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, CAMS, ICA) is an added advantage. • Excellent analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills. • High attention to detail, integrity, and strong ethical standards.
