Star Force is a selective, post-emergence herbicide used to control annual and perennial grass weeds in broadleaf crops. It acts systemically by inhibiting the ACCase enzyme, which prevents lipid synthesis in grasses while leaving broadleaf crops unharmed.
Primary Uses
Target Crops: Commonly applied in broadleaf crops including soybeans, cotton, peanuts, cassava, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, and legumes.
Target Weeds: Effective against major grass weeds such as crabgrass, barnyardgrass, foxtail, goosegrass, and Bermudagrass.
Key Application Guidelines
Post-Emergence: Must be applied directly to actively growing foliage, ideally when grass weeds are young (2 to 6 leaves).
Crop Safety: Safe for broadleaf plants, but will severely damage grass crops like corn, sorghum, rice, sugarcane, and wheat if sprayed over them.
