It is also given as a substitute of tear fluid in case of unstable tear film or insufficient moistening of the eye surface Chemical Composition Protear Sterile Eye Drops: Each ml contains Povidone BP 50 mg. Preservative: Sodium Perborate. Packaging Each plastic dropper bottle contains 10 ml eye drops. Dosage & Administration 1 drop 4 times daily or as required, depending upon the severity of the disease, to be instilled into the conjunctival sac.
