First appeared on the market in 1998 (the first generation), Honda City was a real breath of fresh air for those who seek affordability and fuel economy. The fourth generation of this model was released in winter of 2014. Retaining the general design of City model, the new one, yet features interior and exterior changes. Meanwhile, additional luxury amenities offer premium comfort for today's drivers.

The change in the exterior is expressed via a more aggressive and sporty design. This includes rear and front profile modifications. The interior design is much alike the previous generation of Honda City with black and beige colored leather upholstery as well as quality plastic details for prime models and fabric trimming for lower variants. The interior of this model features such highlights as LCD touchscreen, an audio system with eight speakers, keyless entry, cruise control, ABS, EBD, secure safety system, etc.

Honda City comes with two engine options including petrol 1.5-liter i-VTEC unit that makes 120  horsepower and 106 lb-ft of torque matched to a 5-speed manual CVT transmission and diesel 1.5-liter i-DTEC unit for only 147 lb-ft of torque and 99 horsepower that is matched to a 6-speed manual engine.

The current Honda City comes in several attractive and unique color finishes including Urban Titanium metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Carnelian Red Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic and Tapetta White.
