Whether Acura ZDX is a successful model or not is a debatable matter. First of all, this is the embodiment of Acura MDX second generation, yet this model features an impressive fastback style. Surely this fact complements the luxury design of Acura ZDX, yet it decreases the comfort level at the same time. Both the cargo (measures only the two-thirds of the previous MDX model) and rear passenger compartments suffer greatly. Exceptionally kids and short adults can nestle in the passenger compartment as over three inches of headroom in the rear seat room are lost because of the fastback design.
However, the case is not only the look. Regardless the impressively short stance as well as the swoopy design of Acura ZDX that give the model a much easier handling look, the car turns out to be quite impractical. It yields to previous MDX model in performance. ZDX features SH-AWD (Super Handling All-Wheel Drive), which is designed for a better handling on rainy or icy roads. There are drivers who do really appreciate this system as a tool for a better grip and control, yet it is majorly considered as ineffective one as compared with the additional cost.
We can count nineteen-inch wheels, a sunroof (quite panoramic), xenon headlights, automatic climate control (dual-zone), heated front seats, power liftgate, power steering wheel, Bluetooth, leather upholstery and a standard audio system as standard equipment of Acura ZDX. However, there are also certain optional ones such as navigation system, keyless ignition, parking camera, ventilation for front seats, etc.
