This Heirloom quality bird cane features two world renown exotic hardwoods. The handle is African Blackwood burl, the densest and darkest member of the rosewood family of species.
Blackwood is a rare wood, but burl figured is extremely rare and this handle is exquisite; filled with complex grain patterns, burl eyes, and blisters - Wow! African blackwood is very dark like ebony, but not black; in fact African blackwood is very chatoyant, but you'll need a bright light or the sun to see this wood come alive. The divider is copper to complement the warm tones of these woods. A bubinga shaft completes this wonderful piece with rich color and grain. Total length measures 38" and can be shortened to fit.
