Spectrum of activity:
Oxytetracycline is a broad spectrum antibiotic, with bacteriostatic action against a large number of Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms.
Indications:.
Topical treatment of infections caused by micro-organisms susceptible to oxytetracycline, especially wound infections, dermatitis, traumatic (teat, udder) or surgical wounds (castration, dehorning), or foot rot.
Contra-indications:
Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines.
Dosage and administration:
External application. Avoid every contact with eyes.
Shake well before use.
All animals: Spray during1 a 2 seconds, twice daily (on a 15-20 cm distance).
Withdrawal time:
For meat: 3 days.
For milk: no discard time.
Storage:
Pressurized container: protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C.
Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Do not spray on a naked flame or any incandescent material.
Shelf life:
2 years.
