Pregnacare Plus dual pack contains a daily vitamin and mineral tablet and Omega-3 capsules, which are formulated to work together to support both you and your baby throughout pregnancy.
Pregnacare Plus tablets contain the 400μg of folic acid that the NHS recommends that you take during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Folic acid helps to reduce the risk of the development of neural tube defects, such as spina bifida, in a developing foetus, encouraging healthy spinal growth. They also contain vitamin D, which helps to control the amount of calcium in your body, encouraging healthy bone development, plus a whole host of other essential vitamins and minerals. At the same time, the Omega-3 capsules provide 300mg of the fatty acid DHA, which helps to contribute to normal brain and eye development in your foetus.
