Conduct research and field trials to evaluate crop varieties, planting techniques, and fertilizer applications for optimal yield and quality. Provide recommendations on crop rotation, soil conservation, and nutrient management to improve soil health and fertility. Monitor and assess crop health, pest infestations, and disease outbreaks, and develop integrated pest management strategies. Collaborate with farmers and agricultural stakeholders to develop customized agronomic plans and solutions tailored to specific needs and conditions. Conduct soil tests, analyze results, and make recommendations for soil amendments and corrective actions. Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, or related field. Minimum of 3 years experience in field trials, crop management or similar role. Strong understanding of soil fertility, and agricultural systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
