Job description of retail pharmacy manager
i, assists the director of pharmacy with overseeing and monitoring department expenses and documentation
ii, hiring orientation and performance evaluation process of employees of the pharmacy as necessary and making recommendations regarding merit increases,probationary/disciplinary and/ or termination of employees
iii, oversees all operations and coordinate daily workflow of the pharmacy
iv, determines the cost effective and efficient use of personnel and supplies
v, Manages all results in areas of sales, customer service and key performance measures.
vi, provides quality assurance for all dispensing and operational activities
vii, creates and implements action plans for any and all deficiencies, monitors progress towards goals and recognition team and individual accomplishments
viii, In conjunction with the director of pharmacy, is responsible for overseeing the planning, organizing, direction and marketing of the pharmacy operation
