This was a quick read and I had read his other book Power In Praise first. This book takes you from Pastor Carothers early experiences and breaks it down into how he came to the realization of praising God in All things. I had to sit back and try to grasp the concept of thanking God for the bad things that have happened and thanking God that I am exactly where He wants me to be at this time. It is scriptural where God has given this command...that's why He said that He works All things out for our good. The devil tries to flood my mind about the past..lost position for example but I know that once I begin thanking God for the lost job and it happened for a reason then all of a sudden those thoughts go away...and yes it is a process but it strengthens your spirit and mind to know that with God all things are possible and your current situation no matter what it may be is NOT permanent....this too will change. Good book I definitely recommend.
