As a secretary/receptionist, you are responsible as a front liner to help represent the business in the best way possible. You will serve as a customer service personnel and will be required to be courteous, efficient, and friendly, as they often serve as an individual’s first impression of a company.
* Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
* Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
* Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material.
* Locate and attach appropriate files to incoming correspondence requiring replies.
* Operation of office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications.
* Open, read, route, and distribute incoming mail and other material, and prepare answers to routine letters.
* Resolve customer issues and complaints.
* Perform other miscellaneous clerical duties as necessary.

* Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
* Must be able to work well with other members of the staff to optimize customer experience.
* Maintains friendly, professional, and outgoing demeanor.

* Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail.
* Responding calmly and efficiently in stressful situations is essential.
* Must respond politely to difficult or angry customers and understand that 'customers are always right'.
* Should be capable of multitasking on an ongoing basis.
* Must be familiar with basic Microsoft computer programs.
* Must possess excellent phone etiquette.
* Must be able to remember names and faces in order to make guests
feel particularly welcome
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum of OND/HND in Business and Administration Management or any other related discipline is required.
* Experience in customer service field preferred.
