My name is Chekwube Emmanuella Udubor and I graduated with a Second-Class Upper Division in LLB(Hons) Law from the University of the West of England and acquired a merit grade in a master’s degree in Corporate and Commercial Law from Queen Mary University London. I have also been called to the Nigerian Bar and completed my NYSC programme.
I am an organised, hard-working, self-motivated, detail-oriented and target-driven young professional. I am a keen and quick learner, team player and problem solver. Over the years, I have acquired certain attributes such as the ability to create good interpersonal relationship, leadership qualities, time management and ability to communicate effectively. I have also learnt how to work under pressure. I know these skills and attributes will be useful in performing my tasks efficiently, delivering quality services to your clients and ultimately producing effective results in a timely manner.
As a student and a worker, I have acquired various technical skills such as negotiation, mediation, litigation, legal research skills, reviewing and drafting of various documents such as letters, memos, contracts, legal processes etc. and expert use of Microsoft office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel). I am also very particular about self-growth and development and this has driven me to undergo the Arbitration Entry Course (awaiting induction), Institute of Chartered Secretary programme (in view) and the World Intellectual Property- Introduction to Intellectual Property Course (successfully completed).
