I am a graduate of University of Ilorin Nigeria, 27, and I am currently an HR Officer for Newrest ASL Nigeria EPZE, An aviation and general hospitality company with major interest in all catering sectors. I joined the company in March 2015 and underwent a Management Trainee program, where I worked in all 14 departments and Subunits within the organization. The program was concluded within a year, I was posted to the HR department where I have been working since March 1, 2016.
I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN) and qualified as an Associate of CIPM in May 2018.
I have experience in the use of the ERP Sage 300 People & good knowledge in Nigerian Labour Law & Statutory Regulations, Employee Management, Employment Relations, HMO Administration, Recruitment and selection, Staff Onboarding, Management Reporting and Employee KPI Dashboard reporting, Filing and Recordkeeping, Transactional HR operations Staff Leave Administration, Training & Learning, Payroll & Off Payroll administration, Office administration, Microsoft Office skills and a lot more.
I possess the 3Fs skills of HR (Firmness, Friendly and Fairness) needed to accomplish my everyday task within the HR sphere of any organization.
Professionally I am interested in working for an organization where my innovative skills can be explored because as an individual I enjoy working where my impact can be felt, I like to suggest new ways by which problems can be solved.
Aside from HR, I also have good social media skills with a successful online blog on Instagram (@welovenig) which I founded in 2014 to showcase the different aspect of the Nigerian culture with a focus on Nigerian and continental menus with a current following of over 252,000 followers.
