My dream as an early career academic is to become a Productive and Relevant in the field of ANALYTICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL CHEMISTRY because many people die out without many obvious sign as a result of exposure to pollutants that are carelessly dispose into the environment. This lingeringly poses threat to numerously innocent lives. The reason to solve these problems arise from environmentally disposal of Biochemical wastes that tremendously Contaminate, Degrade, and Pollute our ecological system, which inspired me to study Pure and Applied Chemistry at LADOKE AKINTOLA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY for my undergraduate degree.
During my undergraduate years, I had a Cumulative grade Point average (CGPA) of 3.69/5.00 scale. My final year research project has helped me to develop sharp analytical abilities and has given me the confidence to tackle advanced problems on ‘remediation and restoration of degraded quality of water and rancid vegetable oil. Strong quantitative skills, familiarity with computer applications and experience gained while working on various undergraduate projects have helped me to develop good interpersonal and communication skills in my chosen field.
My insatiable interest for exploring new avenues in this field and the unrelenting desire for witnessing practical implementations in this domain, influenced me to pursue an Industrial Training (IT) programme in Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR). The experience gained during my undergraduate IT scheme in the following analytical areas; Environmental Remediation (ER) using Thermal Desorption Unit (TDU), characterization of crude oil and petroleum product using Ultra-violet (UV) and Infrared Spectrophotometry (IR), Environmental Evaluation Study (EES), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) study, koehler Viscometer (KV), Chemical treatment, Recycling for reuse, etc.
I will be so much glad to apply my meritorious experience at your company with great contribution
