NIF Technical Company Limited, is a supplier, installer of high quality
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plumbing products. The main business of
NTCL is to provide Hdpe pipes, piping and pipe welding machines for
manufacturing Companies, Petrochemical, Food and drink, Construction
Companies etc. Our Hdpe Product includes, Pipes, Elbows, Tee, Reducers,
Sockets, Flanges, Hdpe Fusion Machines etc. both Electro, Butt and
mechanical fusion types. NIF Technical Company also provides advisory
roles to our clients on the best types of Hdpe Standard including after
NIF Technical Company Limited is the exclusive agent/distributor in
Nigeria of Smart Joint brands, Xinda brand, Riyang brands. We are also
able to source a variety of related products from all over the world.
Lastly, our depth knowledge of Hdpe product and applications gives us
comparative advantage to add value to our clients by given them the
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) solid pipes have been used in potable
Water, Sewer, Mining and Gas applications for many decades. It is rapidly
growing as the preferred material for pipelines lining, slurry application
and for the use in Dolomite areas.
FACTOR THAT MAKE HDPE POPULAR AS A PIPE MATERIAL ARE:
HIGH IMPACT STRENGTH
The high impact strength of HDPE pipes compared either to other plastic
materials ensures a greater resistance to the rigours of pipe laying
HDPE has low notch sensitivity, providing a high level of resistance to
the effects of external damage, especially important for pipe bursting
operations and others where there is a like hood of such damage.
HDPE pipes have excellent abrasion resistance providing long life in
abrasive slurry applications. In most of these applications HDPE pipe
outlasts other pipe materials such as mild steel and rubber lined steel.
Outstanding resistance to a wide range of chemical reagents allows the use
of polyethylene systems in applications such as: Tailing pipelines and
chemical treatment applications used in mining operations.
HDPE pipes are flexible and can be bent to a minimum bending radius of 30
applications such as submarine pipe lines, mine subsidence and earthquake
prone areas. This inherent resiliency and flexibility allows the pipe to
absorb surge pressures, vibration and stresses caused by soil movement.
EASE OF INSTALLATION
HDPE pipes have lower friction factors than most non-plastic materials.
The surface energy characteristics of HDPE ensure that material deposition
is inhibited and the smooth bore characteristic is maintained over the
working life of the pipeline.
HDPE pipe are stabilize against Ultra Violet (UV) Light degradation by the
inclusive of Carbon black in the raw material. Black HDPE pipes are
therefore, suitable for installation where the pipes are exposed to direct
Welding of HDPE pipe by electro-fusion couplings provides a homogeneous
joint with end load bearing capabilities and the same corrosion resistance
as the parent pipe. Electro-fusion joint with end load bearing
capabilities and the same corrosion resistance as the parent pipe.
Electro-fusion joints consist of resistance wire embedded into the parent
material of the coupler which when heated by passage of a controlled
electrical current, caused the surrounding HDPE material to melt and form
a fusion joint.
HDPE pipe are tough, flexible, light weighted and offer many cost saving
advantage in both above ground and below ground installations. Whilst they
are robust and resistant to site damage normal care and sensible handling
practices are necessary to ensure trouble free operations.
HDPE pipe is the preferred choice for many pipeline applications. NIF
provides support to assist the successful installation and operation of
the system. Experience personnel provide advisory information on such
items as the ranges of pipes and fittings available, the technical
features of the product, site and factory welding. For further information
