Working as a civil engineer,a site supervisor or a project manager is not an easy task and definitely more difficult in Lagos. I have had my life endangered some times..aside getting workers to start early,making sure materials are on site and safe,following specifications to customer taste,there are other parts of this job that are more hectic and requires more technicality. Like settling area boys,getting them to like you. trying to control a foreman who thinks because he has more years in his job,he can tell you how to do yours. Talking yourself out of problem when your boss doesn't show up to pay laborers and they are bent on beating you as a lesson to your boss and so many other things. I wake up each day to go to site because of the passion and love for the profession and beauty that comes after digging,mixing,molding,laying and all other processes that producing a wonderful finished construction
