Do u carry a natural hair or your hair is under transition... then you need hot oil treatment
Castor oil has long been hailed for making hair thicker and longer. And it’s been proven to do so with the help of its omega-9 fatty acids content. But a major reason why it makes for a great hot oil treatment for damaged hair is the fact that it not only treats split ends and dandruff, but also conditions your hair and keeps scalp infections at bay.
Cold pressed Coconut oil
The biggest benefit it offers is treating hair loss. It manages to do so due to its ability to penetrate hair shafts easily. The fatty acids found in coconut oil also make it a potent treatment for dandruff and lice. The highlight of this over-achieving oil though would have to be its conditioning and moisture retention properties that help treat split ends and prevent hair damage, and leave your hair feeling soft and shiny.
- Take a tablespoon each of your oils or more depend on the length of ur hair.
-Warm your oil mixture by heating plain water on the stove. Wait until the water is just about to boil and remove the pot from the stove.
-Put the oil in a separate container and place it in the pot of warm water until the oil warms up.
Don’t heat the oil in the microwave because it will lose the nutrients .
- Test the oil on your wrist before using so you don’t burn yourself.
-Section your hair into 4-6 sections to make distribution easier and less messy.
-Use the applicator bottle to distribute the oil throughout each section.
-Carefully massage the mixture into your scalp and be sure to coat your ends.
Cover your hair with a plastic cap and let the oil treatment sit on your hair for at least 2hrs or overnight
For added moisture, wet a towel with warm water and wring it out. Wrap the warm towel around your head.Don’t worry if the towel cools off, the process is still working.
-Shampoo condition your hair as normal.
Your hair should be noticeably softer, stronger and may even have a more prominent sheen.
Do once or twice weekly
