Jean Paul Gaultier launched its fragrance Ultra Male in summer 2015, as an reinterpretation of the popular Le Male from 1995, both created by the same perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. Ultra Male, announced as masculine, intense, seductive and at the same time delicate, is supposedly built on contrasts notes and is a spicier version of the predecessor Le Male.
It opens with citrus notes of bergamot, along with juicy pear, black lavender and mint. The heart includes spices of cumin and cinnamon, with aromatic clary sage. The base consists of black vanilla, amber and woods.
Its sweetish and gourmand notes, would garner feminine admirers, who would confessed in his own skin use on special occasions. Even if in a very strong awakening, Ultra Male has a delicate fragrance that is carefully crafted to not be aggressive at any time.
