The NEX-VG900E has a large CMOS image sensor that is the same area as a full 35mm film frame. This enables you to create clear, low-noise images with a narrower depth-of-field, providing excellent selective focus control. The camcorder allows you to shoot in high-resolution AVCHD version 2.0 standard 50p mode, or in 24p mode with Cinema Tone GammaTM/Cinema Tone ColorTM for a film-like look that offers broad expressive potential. There is also a range of new picture effects that can be used to “personalise” your creations without the need for further editing.
