A quantity surveyor bridges the gap between Architecture, Construction and business realities. While there is an ever-increasing need to have well-designed buildings that leave customers with a lasting impression the minute they walk into the building, there is also an increasing demand for professionals who can ensure that such projects are done on time and within budget. Being able to manage resources, stakeholders, and contractors determine the success of such a project and is the core of the quantity surveyor’s role.
As a quantity surveyor, with over 12 years of experience in Architecture, Construction and Project Management & Facilities Management, I am not only well equipped to work such projects, doing so on time and within budget. With multiple certifications in construction and safety, I have delivered projects for multiple clients across multiple locations, increasing profit margins while not cutting corners on quality and safety. My experiences include, but are not limited to, budgeting and cost tracking through the project lifecycle, management of stakeholders and subcontractors, production of quality tender submissions and many more. I have worked on and managed several multiple large scale projects including:
- The building of the 27-storey Intercontinental Hotels in Lagos,
- The 9-storey Zenith Bank Head office,
- The Indian High Commission building, and many more.
I have demonstrated progression and a knack for responsibility all through my career and this is reflected in my current role as Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor at a large multinational where I am directly responsible for the success of over 20 projects since 2014.
I will be delighted to come over and share how my skills will be relevant to delivering the kind of projects the Organisation has over time come to be associated with
