I have a Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) and also a professional training in Project Management from the Project Management College UK.
I currently work with a Non government organization as their Financial management manager and take responsible for ensuring that all transactions are properly accounted for and the financial systems are maintained, under all procedures and controls, Managing bank accounts and overseeing money transfers between head offices, country offices and field offices, Assisting and guiding the board by providing relevant financial information during budgeting, accounts to donors and other decision-making activities. I have also worked in the program unit; empowerment unit as well as the administrative unit of the organization and this has improved my knowledge area.
In the finance section, I also ensure Finance Department meets its objectives & reporting requirements in a timely and professional manner, provide direction and guidance to all finance staff by clearly identifying key roles and responsibilities, setting individual target and objectives and providing constructive performance feedback on a timely basis, Ensure a robust system is in place to identify and comply with all reporting requirements.
In the Administrative section were I worked as the Administrative and Manager in Haviliah management Company I Oversee the day-to-day business processes and ensuring seamless operations, manage cash, payroll, procurement processes. Ensure good management of finance and administrative process. Coordinate operations and manage all administrative as well as all logistics and procurement issues.
Over the years, I have also worked in organizations like St. Vincent de Paul in Port Harcourt and Abuja chapter that empowers, cater, organize and distribute food, clothing etc. to the less privileges , orphans and vulnerable. We research, locate, investigate before distribution and empowerment is done. We also have support group were information can be passed when the need arises and monitor the implementation of the program.
Furthermore, I have also been employed as a Credit & Marketing Officer in the different financial institutions for over ten years. I was responsible for credit proposals, negotiation & maintaining client relationships, financial analysis and personal loan leasing, and marketing retail bank products.
Having graduated with an MBA degree, I also gained excellent interpersonal and communication skills which has made me capable of dealing with matters of customer complaints. One of the optional units offered in the MBA was Managerial Effectiveness, in which we were professionally trained to deal with customers’ complaints and employees’ conflicts effectively.
