Main function of job (in addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required): Assisting with the general stores function, receiving and issuing goods, maintaining the outside yard and stores in a clean and tidy condition. Daily reconciliation of stock physical quantities with the daily sell out. Daily filling of stock cards inventory for inflow and outflow.
Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom
Receive, unload, and shelve supplies
Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses
Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
Report to the Purchasing Manager
